The Currier Museum of Art is offering special deals and a special program for AARP members all day Saturday, October 19. New Hampshire residents arriving before noon will receive free admission. After noon, AARP members will receive $1 off admission, with a discounted rate of $9.

Four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon today joined representatives of AARP Foundation as the Foundation made a $20,000 donation to New Hampshire Food Bank. The donation specifically goes to support the food bank's production garden, which is used as a job training resource, as well as a source of fresh, locally produced food for people in need in the Granite State.
Fall is a perfect time to visit Strawbery Banke Museum in downtown Portsmouth and Sunday, October 6 has been declared AARP day with special discounts and a special lecture. AARP members can enjoy a self-guided tour of the Museum’s 30 historic buildings, eight gardens, costumed role players and hands-on craft activities all for a discounted admission price of $12 (regularly $17.50).
