AARP Indiana is distributing wallet-sized cards to help Hoosiers understand how a new law could help their families when a loved one is hospitalized.
Ten years ago the eye of Hurricane Katrina hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast leaving a path of devastation and destruction. After Hurricane Katrina made landfall on August 29, 2005, Waveland, Bay St. Louis and the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast were changed forever.
AARP Missouri “Speak Out!” speakers bureau volunteers who reside in the Kansas City area recently participated in an in-service meeting. The purpose was to connect with the AARP Missouri state office, discuss participation and motivation, share best practices and community engagement, and deliver self-critiqued mini presentations.
