A new web page developed by AARP Oklahoma and News on 6 points the way to resources that can help family caregivers in the northeastern part of the state.

People caring for loved ones with cancer face unique challenges and often lack support. The Arizona Myeloma Network (AZMN) offers training for these caregivers, and AARP Arizona is sponsoring three free sessions on Saturdays—Sept. 30, Dec. 9 and Feb. 10—from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

September is Emergency Preparedness Month—perfect timing for the 2017 Emergency Preparedness Expo in Mat-Su Valley. Cosponsored by AARP Alaska, the free expo is Saturday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Menard Sports Center, 1001 S. Clapp St., Wasilla.

The Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging (SWIRCA & More) is hosting its annual BrewFest on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Evansville’s historic Bosse Field. AARP Indiana is cosponsoring the event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
