Sixteen volunteers provided support for 1,272 taxpayers in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
The Moorhead City Council awarded AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers from the Fargo-Moorhead area with the City of Moorhead’s MoorHeart Award.
AARP Connecticut today announced the addition of Natalie Shurtleff as Associate State Director, Advocacy and Community Outreach. Shurtleff will be responsible for developing and executing state, federal, and local advocacy activities on behalf of the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization’s nearly 600,000 members in Connecticut. She will have a particular focus areas involving livable communities, health care, and long-term services and supports issues.

Longtime Activist to Lead AZ Volunteers and Board
RALEIGH -- AARP volunteers were in large numbers at the North Carolina General Assembly when the state’s aging community held an Advocacy Day here in May. With most new legislative proposals being held for the long session in 2025, aging advocates helped set the stage for opportunities lawmakers have to strengthen our communities and make North Carolina a better place for all ages.
