We have a team of volunteer reporters who cover events and write feature articles to tell the AARP story in Virginia. We have a lot going on, and we need more volunteer reporters to cover our events.
Meet AARP Virginia President's Award winner Trudy Marotta
AARP Delaware is looking for volunteers to help achieve positive social change through public policy advocacy, digital media and community service—all while making friends and having fun.
The new series of virtual offerings called Lynchburg Serves made its debut on March 15, the first of the monthly series hosted by AARP Virginia that will have nine installments focused on the Meals on Wheels program of the Greater Lynchburg area.
Tanya Jackson is not only a star volunteer for AARP AZ. Tanya helps the state office manage the Volunteer Portal and has taken on a Lead Volunteer role during the Pandemic. Tanya Jackson our Arizona Volunteer Portal Champion is also representing us on a regional level. For the last year she has been continuing to train volunteers how to submit expense reimbursements, utilize the calendar feature, assisting states with various state specific tip sheets to enhance their volunteer experience while utilizing the portal. She presents new information and fields questions during the large regional portal and champion regular trainings and meetings. Tanya is truly a Volunteer Champion!
