The COVID pandemic continues to wreak havoc on our lives, economy, friends, and families. No one was hit harder than residents of long-term care -- nearly 80,000 Washingtonians who live in more than 4,300 long-term care homes across the state.

Dale Caldwell has been selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization for people 50 and older, to receive the 2021 AARP New Jersey Andrus Award for Community Service, the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
AARP Ohio has skilled volunteers that can speak to your group online. Our speakers provide FREE virtual presentations via Zoom that address the issues that matter most to Ohioans 50+.
It's Easier Than You Think
In 2021, Lilyan received the AARP NJ State Office Advocacy Award. This is given to an AARP volunteer who has been an outstanding advocate and has contributed significantly to the AARP policy agenda.
The AARP Andrus Award for Community Service is the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
Two AARP volunteers, Gloria Kovnot and Brenda Surae Eaton, were recognized by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ Aging & Adult Services Agency as Senior Citizens of the Year.
