RICHMOND – AARP Virginia State Director Jim Dau today praised members of the Virginia House of Delegates for passing a state budget that includes Medicaid expansion. On Thursday, May 10, 2018, the SW Roanoke AARP Chapter 4652 celebrated it 27th anniversary at the Westhampton Christian Church in Roanoke. The theme of the event was "Looking Back, Moving Forward." Speaking at the event was Ben Crawford of the Blacksburg Chapter. Guests included Blacksburg Chapter member, Carol Crawford as well as Roanoke Eureka Chapter #0514 members, Mary Terry, President, James Jordan, VP and Doris Durham. Old albums from the SW Roanoke Chapter were exhibited. A time of good food and fun was had by all.
