If your New Year’s resolutions include finding a new job, work-from-home opportunities may sound appealing. While many remote positions are legitimate, some aren’t what they appear to be. Criminals often pose as legitimate employers on job boards, social media, or send unsolicited texts, promising easy money, flexible hours, and a quick hiring process.

If anyone needs care more than anyone else at times, it is the full-time caregivers themselves, those who care for many, most or all of the needs of a loved one. It’s a blessing to care for loved ones, but you also have to take care of yourself. That means financially, too.
Veterans Day, celebrated each year November 11, is a time to honor the service and sacrifice of those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. It’s also a reminder of the need to protect veterans beyond their time in uniform.
