AARP Wyoming has compiled a list of data for the state regarding registered voters and categorizing the numbers for each district in the House and Senate. The numbers for the 60 districts in the House and the 30 districts in the Senate include: the total population for the district, the population of the 50+, the estimated number of AARP members, and the total number of registered voters in the district.

The Wyoming Retirement Security Task Force met for the first time in Cheyenne on June 21 to discuss ways the state can help put more money in its citizens pockets after they retire.

AARP Wyoming will offer a free screening of the movie, “The Intern,” at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16 at The Cody Council on Aging Senior Center, 613 16th St., Cody.

In the newest addition of AARP’s book “ Where We Live,” Jackson, Wyoming is featured for offering its citizens a new place to sit.

Communities across the nation are taking steps to become better places to live and age, according to data analyzed from the newly updated AARP Livability Index.

The first meeting of the Wyoming Retirement Security Task Force will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 21 in the State AARP offices at 2020 Carey Ave, Mezzanine Level. The committee will meet three or four times over the interim and their meetings are open to the public.
