The ServiceLink Resource Center Network and AARP New Hampshire are hosting an educational luncheon event for the House Finance Committee; House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee; and House Commerce Committee. The luncheon will be held Tuesday, March 26, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Barley House on Main Street, with an overview of the work of the ServiceLink Resource Center Network and the value they bring to New Hampshire residents.

Sherri Harden of Goffstown has been hand-selected to participate in AARP’s premiere Volunteer Leadership Institute, an intensive 13-month program designed to elevate highly skilled and motivated AARP volunteers to the next level of volunteer leadership. The class of 2013 represents 24 individuals in all corners of the country, from New Hampshire to California, Puerto Rico to Oregon.

A public hearing cohosted by AARP and New Hampshire Voices for Health – to inform health benefit Marketplace planning and implementation – will be held on March 8 at 10:30 am in Rooms 206-208 of the Legislative Office Building in Concord. This follows a survey capturing input from a broad range of stakeholders on the topic.

The House Finance Committee’s Health & Human Services Subcommittee has scheduled a public hearing, co-hosted by the House HHS Committee, on the affirmative Medicaid expansion opportunity for New Hampshire that appears in the Governor’s proposed budget.
