On behalf of AARP, Hart Research Associates and North Star Opinion Research conducted telephone polling among 1,200 voters age 50 and over in Arkansas, between June 24 and July 1, 2014.
Social Security benefit verification letters will still be available at U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) field offices. The SSA reversed course thanks to advocacy from AARP and others.
