Elder abuse is widespread. Every year an estimated 1 in 10 older Americans are victims of elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Elder Abuse Awareness Month may be coming to a close, but we all deserve to lead happy and healthy lives free from abuse as we age - everyday.
