AARP is very active in the city of Louisville. We are working to make Louisville an even more livable community, we host monthly educational and outreach events, and we have a vibrant volunteer community team made of retirees and current employees from all walks of life.

AARP believes that communities should provide walkable streets, sustainable housing and transportation options, access to key services and opportunities for residents to participate in community activities.
Louisville, are you ready for some basketball?
Voting in the mid-term elections is easy for some people – just a quick walk around the corner or a short drive to the polling station. But for others, it may seem impossible.
AARP will host our first ever bourbon tasting. Members and one guest are invited to enjoy a 30 minute guided tour and a 15 minute tasting all for $5! You’ll also learn more about AARP as we have fun trivia while you wait.
Join us at the Coffee Zone from 10:00-12:00 on September 11th, and enjoy a free cup of coffee and a muffin while learning about hearing loss, ways to protect your hearing, and products currently available. There will be no sales but you will hear from a clinical audiologist who can answer your questions.
