On June 30, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada, FBI Las Vegas Field Office, and AARP Nevada hosted an interactive telephone town hall and shared information about common gift card schemes and prevention tips.

On June 22nd, AARP Nevada, the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada Legal Services discussed local resources and information specific to the ending of the Nevada Eviction Moratorium for those renting in Nevada.
AARP Nevada is building a dedicated team of phone volunteers to conduct outreach and education efforts around brain health, financial security, caregiving, and more. There are two opportunities currently available. Learn about them at our open house and decide if you'd like to try one or both!
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signed legislation that provides certain employees with the right to use sick leave to assist certain family members with medical needs. The Governor was joined by bill sponsor Assemblywoman Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod and representatives of AARP Nevada for the signing of Assembly Bill 190.
