WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Take a STEP toward better health and join a free walking program in Winston-Salem. Now in its fourth year, each walk is led by a local healthcare provider and is open to people of all ages and abilities.
Throughout June, AARP North Carolina teamed up with the LGBT Center of Raleigh and SAGE of Central North Carolina to celebrate Pride Month through three unique virtual events highlighting the LGBTQ+ experience in our state. This June, AARP proudly celebrates Black Music Month—a time to recognize and applaud the rich impact of African American music on our country’s history.
