Virginia lawmakers will consider paid leave for the state’s family caregivers and tighter rules for cryptocurrency ATMs during the 2026 legislative session. Along with establishing a prescription drug affordability board, paid leave and crypto fraud measures are AARP Virginia’s top priorities this year.

Addressing cryptocurrency fraud will be a top priority for AARP Tennessee during the 2026 legislative session. AARP and other consumer advocates will push for legislation to regulate crypto ATMs, such as setting limits on daily transactions.

AARP is urging state lawmakers to expand Michigan’s Homestead Property Tax Credit.
