Many communities today lack attainable and equitable housing options necessary to meet people’s preferences, changing demographics and economic realities. AARP is fighting to change that for everyone, regardless of age, in Louisville.

The concept of a 'book club for introverts' sparked an animated discussion at my monthly book club gathering recently. As a group of older adult women accustomed to lively debates over shared reading experiences, we found the idea of a silent book club to be, frankly, paradoxical.

Scams have become a regular part of life, whether it’s a suspicious email, a fake phone call, or someone pretending to be someone else online. They can show up in all kinds of ways, like tech support pop-ups, romance scams, or fake messages that seem to come from government officials.

This lively USVI carnival is both the celebration of Emancipation Day (which marks the end of slavery in the Virgin Islands on July 3, 1848), as well as the founding of the United States on July 4, 1776. AARP VI is looking forward to joining the celebration!
