The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program is looking to expand its team of volunteers for the upcoming tax season by recruiting interested individuals across Nebraska. Tax-Aide is an AARP Foundation program that offers free tax filing help for those who need it most, especially adults 50 and older.

A Little Help is a Colorado nonprofit that connects neighbors across ages to enhance lives and strengthen our communities. A Little Help helps older adults thrive in their homes by connecting them intergenerationally with neighbors who volunteer for a variety of services.

Protect Yourself from Identity Theft and Fraud!

The South Carolina Equipment Distribution Program is a state program administered by the SC Office of Regulatory Staff. Also known as AmplifyLife, the purpose of the program is to assist those who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, blind/low vision with hearing loss, or speech impaired, to better communicate over the telephone by offering telecommunications equipment at no charge. The process is simple: you fill out the one page application, have it signed by a professional certifier, attach a copy of a state issued ID and current phone bill, and send it in! The equipment is shipped to the customer and is loaned to that person for as long as they need it.

Our veterans have served our country with pride, and AARP Ohio is proud to host our first Caring for Veterans and Their Caregivers information and resource fair on Saturday, November 12 with the Cleveland Veterans Administration. We want to ensure that veterans and their caregivers have access to resources that help them live a healthy life.

AARP Richmond North Chapter #5356 has teamed up with AARP Virginia and the Fifth Street Baptist Church to present the Thirteenth Health and Wellness Fair. This year’s theme is “The gift of CAREGIVING – One of Life’s Surprises.”

AARP Chapter #5309 is hosting its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. on October 19 at the Windsor Ruritan Clubhouse, located on 14 Community Drive, Windsor VA 23487.

Outsmarting investment fraud and learning how to be a part of the AARP Fraud Watch Network and all it has to offer are just two of the topics that will be discussed at the 18th Annual Western Summit in Hays on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Other topics include activities for seniors at the Hays Recreation Center, athletics at Fort Hays State University (FHSU), fraudulent practices in acquiring antiques, a presentation on relationships with China by Dr. Ed Hammond, education professor at FHSU, and information about Hays airport services.
