She currently works for Premier Computer Solutions in Cheshire and UConn as the People Empowering People (PEP) Correctional Institute Coordinator for Connecticut. Trish volunteers as a PEP facilitator at Cheshire Correctional Institute and Connections Coordinator at Cornerstone Church in Cheshire.
Longtime kupuna advocate Gary Simon has been named Volunteer State President of AARP Hawai‘i. Simon serves as leader and spokesperson for AARP’s nearly 250,000 members and 400 volunteers in Hawai‘i. He is also the chair of the AARP Hawai‘i Executive Council, a volunteer leadership committee that helps set AARP’s state agenda and programs.
AARP New Hampshire is gearing up to offer more events, activities, and programs in the Seacoast and we need your help! There are a lot of volunteer opportunities to get us where we need to go, and we’ve put together a Snack, Sample and Serve event to give you a “taste” of the various volunteer opportunities with AARP in the Seacoast.
AARP is now accepting nominations for its 2019 Georgia Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors 50+ Georgians who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich the lives of their community members.
