Over 100 Connecticut corporate professionals have successfully moved from corporate to nonprofit careers through Encore!Connecticut.

AARP Veterans and Military Spouses Job Center brings together information and resources to help Kentucky’s 330,000 veterans and military spouses compete in today’s job market.
RALEIGH— AARP has launched the AARP Veterans and Military Spouses Job Center, a new digital platform bringing together valuable information and resources to help North Carolina’s nearly 800,000 veterans and military spouses compete in today’s job market. The job center includes a new Veterans Career Advantage Course to build on career planning and skills development to help navigate the job market. According to an AARP survey, more than half (56%) of employers say the experience and the use of skills in previous positions are 'very important' when evaluating applicants' skills.
The manufacturing industry in Connecticut is booming and opening doors to opportunities. AARP Connecticut, as part of a multifaceted intergenerational approach to support the age 50 and older with an interest in continuing their education, has made a donation to The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame for older students enrolled in a Connecticut Community College manufacturing program.
