AARP Virginia has canceled the 97th District candidate forum that was set to take place between Delegate Michael Feggans and former delegate Tim Anderson on Tuesday, September 23, at the Kempsville Area Library in Virginia Beach.
We're fighting every day to make aging easier. Your voice matters, and we help make sure that our elected officials in the Commonwealth hear it.

Someone’s identity is stolen every two seconds. Protect yourself by shredding unneeded confidential documents with the AARP Fraud Watch Network. Bring any confidential documents, up to two boxes, to the Senior Awareness Day Expo and AARP will shred them for free. The shred event is from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on April 25 at the Timberlake United Methodist Church, located at 21649 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.

Senior Connections is currently seeking input from adults ages 60+ via surveys and interviews. Your responses will be incorporated into a mural design with the theme “Recipes for Life.”
The Montgomery County League of Women Voters and the Lifelong Learning Institute at Virginia Tech invite the public to participate in Great Decisions, an annual eight-week nonpartisan community discussion on international affairs. This award-winning program, using materials prepared by the Foreign Policy Association, is in its 63rd year and is presented in many locations nationwide.
