Northern Virginia traffic can be a nightmare! Keeping safe on the roads is a concern to all of us, especially those of us with aging parents. How do you know when it’s time for your loved one to limit or stop driving?
ROANOKE_ LOA is collaborating with AARP Virginia and organizations across the Roanoke Valley and Alleghany Highlands to collect soup, crackers and other non-perishable food items during a drive February 2-7, 2015.
Across Virginia, there are people in nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities who will spend the holidays alone. With a simple holiday visit, you can make a difference!
During the week of September 7th, AARP volunteers, staff, and members contributed thousands of pounds of food to local food pantries.
