As a new member of the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, St. Louis County is committed to a long-range plan that could improve the quality of life for its residents.
To help people age 50-plus live more effectively and explore the possibilities ahead, AARP Oregon and other community groups are cosponsoring the Southern Oregon Vital Aging Conference on Nov. 16.
The Phoenix City Council will vote in December on a “complete streets” policy that would encourage walking, bicycling and transit use while promoting safe operations for all users.
