Our veterans have served our country with pride, and AARP Ohio wants to ensure that veterans and their caregivers have access to resources that help them live a healthy life. Please join us for our second annual information and resources event with the Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare System.

AARP helps people turn their goals and dreams into Real Possibilities, strengthens communities, and fights for the issues that matter most to families. If you’re interested in having fun and making an impact with new friends, then volunteering with AARP might be the answer.

From July 26 th through August 6 th, nearly 170 volunteers from around Ohio traveled to the 2017 Ohio State Fair in Columbus to staff the AARP booth. We couldn’t have asked for a more energized and enthusiastic team of Buckeyes to interact with fair goers about issues that impact all Ohioans.

Every 2 seconds someone's identity is stolen. But you can take steps to protect yourself. Join us to fight back against fraud at an AARP Fraud Watch Network Shred Fests in the Northwestern Ohio cities of Lima, Defiance and Toledo!

AARP Ohio is cosponsoring the 2017 Midwest Black Family Reunion, Aug. 18-20, in Cincinnati. The annual event celebrates the historic strengths and values of the black family.

AARP Ohio...your PRIDE was showing! Columbus PRIDE took place the weekend of June 16th and 17th with attendance estimated at over 500,000! AARP Ohio was proud to sponsor the Trailblazer Lounge for Stonewall Columbus’ Central Ohio Group for LGBTQA Adults 50+. Volunteers visited the lounge throughout the weekend to share information and talk about AARP’s commitment to the LGBT community and how we can work together in the future.

Interested in learning how the Great Lakes have dramatically impacted not only your community, but all of North America socially, economically, and politically? Come out and explore the National Museum of the Great Lakes with AARP and hear tales that span hundreds of years.

Making sure your car is set up properly for you and shredding confidential documents you no longer need are great ways to protect yourself, both on the road and from fraud. Join AARP Ohio, the Akron Police Department, WAKR, WONE, and WZMX for our car safety, document shredding, and electronic device disposal event.
