And like any good nonagenarian, it’s got stories to tell, wisdom to share, a whole lot of people who are grateful for its existence and it needs our care.

A quick look back at our year
The 2024 Legislative Session kicks off on Feb. 12 and one of the priority issues for lawmakers is once again property tax relief. On Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. AARP Wyoming will host a webinar in which the two chairmen of the Legislature’s Joint Revenue Committee discuss proposals that will be debated during the 2024 session.
Today, AARP Florida released its 2024 legislative priorities, highlighting the importance of maintaining a well-trained direct care workforce, enhancing the quality and oversight of Florida’s long-term care system, expansion of home and community-based services and increasing consumer protections as top priorities for the AARP advocacy team and volunteer advocates.
