AARP is launching a nationwide movement, I Am A Caregiver. To many lawmakers, America’s millions of caregivers are invisible. Yet, these family caregivers hold up a broken long-term care system, which is why AARP is looking for your help.
AARP Wisconsin will be sponsoring three days at the China Lights show for our members and their guests, Oct. 10, 11 and 12 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. each day, at Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Dr., Hales Corners, WI 53130.

But our needs can change as we age, and most houses and apartments are designed for young, able-bodied adults and don’t meet the needs of older residents or people with disabilities.
