November is National Family Caregivers Month, a chance to recognize the contributions, commitment, and sacrifices made by America’s 63 million family caregivers every single day.
With nearly 900,000 members here in Washington state and more than 38 million members nationwide, AARP is sure to ring a bell with most Washington adults. However, with an organization of this size, AARP means many different things to many different people. As the volunteer president of AARP, I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about our organization and to provide you with some helpful contacts.
It’s never too late to focus on your brain health. In this interactive session, we’ll explore the six pillars of brain health, activities that support brain health, and hopefully, be inspired by others. This session is a good overview for anyone interested in learning more about brain health and will share information on the latest research on brain health, lifestyle suggestions, and resources to learn more.
