Keystone Saves, a proposed IRA savings program for private-sector employees, has bipartisan support from state legislators and strong backing from AARP.
It was a tense week in both the House and Senate during week three of the 2020 Legislative Session. Contentious subjects such as gun and abortion bills were discussed. AARP was able to avoid those issues, but had a big week in its own right.

Two positive organizations serving older Virginians teamed up on Feb. 26. Sensational Seniors, a ministry of Riverview Baptist Church in Richmond, and AARP Virginia came together at an 11a.m. meeting in the church fellowship hall. They tackled the issue of Fraud and Identity Theft.
