AARP Illinois is working with the Chicago Sky—the city’s WNBA team—and the Fourth Ward Jewel Osco grocery store in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood to host a food drive, Dec. 11-14. The drive will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

AARP Louisiana has a Speakers Bureau whose volunteers give presentations on topics such as fraud prevention, caregiving, health care, veterans resources and more.

BJ Blanchard was selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization for people 50 and older, to receive the 2017 AARP Ohio Andrus Award for Community Service -- the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
