Meet Austin Castleberry, a senior at Kemper Academy and member of the football team. He was nominated by Dr. Darrell Zehr.

Meet Anne Grayson Clanton, a senior at Lafayette High School. She was nominated by Jennifer Painter. “Anne has a 3.91 GPA and is ranked 19 out of 197 seniors while being a full-time band member since 6th grade and working a part-time job,” Painter said. "Anne is on the bowling team too. She also is a member of the National Honor Society, Anchor Club, Beta Club, Yearbook Staff, and Bowling Team. She is Treasurer of the Student Council. Anne also volunteers at the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society, nursing homes in the Oxford area, and Race for the Cure.”

Lately, scammers have been spoofing phone numbers of banks, doctor's offices and other official agencies. Spoofing means that a scammer's phone number will show up on your caller ID as an official number. Scammers have been doing this with the 1-800 number for the Social Security Administration (SSA) to try and collect vital personal information from people in order to steal their identities.
Almost half the people who work for private businesses in the state do not have a retirement savings plan through their employer, according to a 2015 AARP study.
