Now, The University of Connecticut Nonprofit Leadership Program , in partnership with Fairfield County nonprofit partners, has launched Encore!Fairfield County, creating an opportunity for more southern Connecticut residents to participate in the innovative program. Encore!Fairfield County is modeled after Encore!Hartford, which has an impressive track record. A five-year assessment of the program in 2015 revealed 91% of participants finding employment (70% full-time), and 73% of those employed landing in the nonprofit sector.
