AARP Oregon is kicking off a statewide listening tour this spring to hear from Oregonians 50+ about their communities. The Age-Friendly Oregon: Building Communities for All Ages Listening Tour will include stops in twelve Oregon communities between March and June 2018. In each community, AARP staff and volunteer leaders will be host a public community conversation designed to hear from 50+ Oregonian about their communities, their priorities and aspirations for a livable and age-friendly Oregon.

Nationwide Campaign Aims to Help Voters Age 50+ Hold Politicians Accountable

Join national expert Teepa Snow on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 for her workshop on Helping Throughout the Journey of Dementia; Understanding Progression and Providing the Best Care. This workshop will teach you how to understand dementing illnesses and respond to challenging situations.

AARP Idaho is now accepting nominations for its 2018 Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors Idahoans 50 years and older who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich the lives of their community members.

AARP NY invites you to join us on Long Island this Spring for some fun live events at The Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark on Main Street! Shows will feature something for everyone - - from music, magic, comedy and art.

AARP Florida along with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County will honor veterans and members of the military at the annual celebration of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 19th from 10 am to 1 pm. Visitors to the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum will be entertained and informed during a colorful commemoration of our nation’s military history and Palm Beach County’s veterans. Displays and presentations will share the county’s role in American war efforts and local battles fought on native soil.
