In an age of data breaches and sophisticated identity thieves, protecting your digital information is more important than ever. According to the California-based Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, there were over 738 data breaches in 2017 exposing more than 2-billion individual’s records. In fact, experts say very few of us haven’t been affected.
AARP’s commitment to volunteer service began with our founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus. AARP continues to honor her legacy with the AARP Virginia Andrus Award for Community Service. On Wednesday, AARP announced Iowa Senator Charles Grassley as a recipient of AARP’s 2017 Congressional Award for his legislative leadership during the first year of the 115th Congress on an issue area that will benefit the lives of the 50+, our families, and our communities.
