AARP Connecticut is pleased to announce Phillip King of Cheshire has been selected to receive the 2022 Andrus Award for Community Service, the Association’s most prestigious state volunteer award, for his outstanding volunteerism and commitment to the community. Mr. King, a long-time Gaylord Specialty Healthcare volunteer, was presented with the Andrus Award at a ceremony on November 9, 2022.

(Jackson, MS) – Pastor Larry G. Hawkins, Sr., of Pascagoula, has been selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization for people 50 and older, to receive the 2022 AARP Mississippi Andrus Award for Community Service, the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.

Sophie Quest, of Burlington, has received AARP’s top volunteer award, the Andrus Award for Community Service.
