Forward. In Wisconsin, it’s not just a motto, but a call that directs us toward a better future for our citizens and the communities in which we live. At AARP Wisconsin, we embrace this motto and its spirit of possibility and optimism. We invite Wisconsinites age 50+ to explore the many different opportunities that can be found at AARP.
It might not be the “snow days” we remember as kids, but the frigid temps outside are definitely deserving of a “cold day”. Here are some fun ideas to help you keep busy while staying inside where it’s nice and warm.

The holiday season is upon us, a time when many Wisconsinites open their hearts and wallets by giving to charitable causes.
Across Wisconsin, more than 766,000 unsung heroes care for parents, spouses, aunts, uncles, friends, and other loved ones – helping them stay at home, with dignity, as they age. This silent army helps with bathing and dressing, transportation, meal preparation, and even complicated medical tasks like wound care and medication management. They are family caregivers.
Honoring the sacrifices our military men and women made to keep our country free should extend far beyond the few hours we spend each year on salutes, tributes and speeches on Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
