Do you have a passion for civic engagement? Consider becoming a volunteer for AARP Arizona’s annual Day at the Legislature luncheon at the State Capitol.
Three projects funded with Community Challenge grants have increased access to transportation, public spaces and affordable housing. The grants were announced last July as part of AARP’s Livable Communities initiative.
Got an idea for a community project you’d like to see become a reality?
At the upcoming RI Home Show (April 4-7, at the Rhode Island Convention Center), the main attraction will be a four-room age-friendly model home, sponsored by AARP Rhode Island.
