Troy J. Broussard joins AARP Kentucky State Office as State Director
RALEIGH — The start of an academic year brings new beginnings for students across the nation. Many young adults are initiating a new chapter in their lives as they get a step closer to their career aspirations. One student, Lara Tiscareno-Vazquez, a senior at NC State University, wants to help enact public policy that helps people of all ages.

AARP Connecticut applauds the final decision by Connecticut’s Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) to reject United Illuminating Company’s rate increase request. An approved increase would have significantly raised the cost of electricity for Connecticut ratepayers, who already pay the highest retail electricity price in the continental United States.
AARP will be creating an ofrenda (altar) for Days of the Dead. We need photos for the decoration.
