As part of its ongoing efforts to help consumers avoid falling victim to identity theft, AARP Vermont is holding “ Shred Fest 2016” – an event to provide free shredding of personal financial documents and other sensitive records.

Upcoming shred events. Please limit to three bags or boxes. How big is too big? If you can load in your vehicle, someone will unload it for you. Use your best judgement! Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed.

AARP Kansas is pleased to once again to be part of the Financial Freedom Expo, set for Saturday, April 16, in Wichita. The Expo will provide participants with a wide variety of information and resources to promote financial literacy. This free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Urban Preparatory Academy located at 2821 E. 24th Street.
Mark your calendar for the Age of Champions Health Fair and Film Screening! It’s all on April 23 at the UNH Field House, in Durham. Doors open at 8:30; the event runs from 9:00 to noon.

Identity theft is a growing problem. Two years ago, 17.6 million Americans 16 and older were victims, according to the U.S. Justice Department.

AARP Virgin Islands has an answer: Zumba Gold, a fun, effective fitness class tailored to active older adults. Like regular Zumba, the dance-based classes provide an aerobic workout, but Zumba Gold is low-impact and can even be done in a chair.
