AARP is now accepting nominations for its 2018 Mississippi Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors 50+ Mississippians who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich the lives of their community members.

You probably have treasured family photos on your smartphone or laptop. Perhaps you’ve gone paperless with your credit card bills. What would happen to these and other digital assets if you became incapacitated or died?
AARP is offering classes in Peoria to help central Illinois residents use smartphones and tablets more effectively. The courses can help members and their guests take better photos and use their devices to keep in touch with family and friends or search for jobs online.
Today, AARP presented Senator Maggie Hassan with a 2017 “Champion for the 50+” Congressional Award for her legislative leadership during the first year of the 115 th Congress.
Student Council and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members from Lingle-Fort Laramie High Schools will share their knowledge of smartphones with clients of the Lingle Senior Center, April 16 and 17. Lunch at the Senior Center is free April 16 and 17, thanks to AARP Wyoming.
AARP IL is looking for Volunteer Tech Trainers to assist staff and other volunteers to provide training support.
