At AARP, Real Possibilities means that anything is possible and that age doesn’t define people. In fact, we believe that age and experience can expand—not limit—possibilities.
On Wednesday, March 4, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker released his budget recommendations for the 2016 fiscal year. The $38 billion spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year is the governor’s first budget proposal and provides some insights about his priorities, which include curbing state spending in MassHealth, increasing education funding, and creating new jobs and economic competitiveness.

AARP North Dakota has formed a new Education & Outreach Team to foster education and outreach efforts in communities. By gathering input from this team of people, AARP hopes to learn how best to engage more people in more communities with its programming and events.

Over the past seven years, Kellianne Erath of Framingham has helped more than 14 Bay State residents manage some of the most private details of their lives — their finances. Erath, along with more than 1,000 other volunteers, dedicates her time and skills to help others through the Massachusetts Money Management Program.
AARP Delaware State Director Lucretia Young recently announced that Rashmi Rangan has been chosen as the new AARP Delaware State President. Ms. Rangan takes the helm as AARP’s top volunteer in the First State following an extensive recruitment effort to find a leader who shares AARP’s mission and vision. A strong leader, grandmother and advocate, she exemplifies for all Delawareans that your potential is not limited by age.
