National Volunteer Week is April 6 – 12, 2014, and it has special significance for AARP Alabama. We are fortunate to have skilled and committed volunteers who are making life better in communities around our state every day. We could not do what we do without them!
AARP Wisconsin is seeking nominations for its 2014 AARP State Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors those individuals who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich the lives in their communities.
As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, AARP Kentucky would like to recognize the many Kentuckians who go above and beyond the call of duty to make life better for others. Nearly a million Kentuckians volunteer their time and talents to strengthen their communities and improve the lives of others.

Lime Rock Park, the historic racetrack located in Lime Rock, CT has announced its selection of AARP Foundation as its 2014 official charity to support Drive to End Hunger, a multi-year initiative to fight the risk of hunger for Americans age 50+.
Many of you have had rewarding careers in which you’ve gained excellent experience – experience that can be valuable to others. If you are still working full-time or part-time, the skills you have can also be of value outside of your workplace.
