AARP Foundation is again providing free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 49th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to the older population. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.
AARP has launched the 2016 election accountability campaign called Take a Stand, which demands on behalf of all voters that Presidential candidates take a stand on their plans to update Social Security. AARP expects every presidential candidate to lay out their plans to make Social Security financially sound so current and future generations can receive the adequate benefits they’ve earned.

Since the design implementation of the Community, State and National Affairs (CSN), AARP Missouri is part of the Large Region group of states in the new structure. Missouri is joined by Arizona, Washington, Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and New Jersey.
