AARP Illinois has teamed up with Microsoft Corp. to offer free computer classes for AARP members. Held at the Microsoft store in Oak Brook, the two-hour classes provide a basic introduction to various programs.
AARP Wyoming is continuing to push for Medicaid expansion to cover about 17,600 low-wage workers whose employers do not offer health insurance. Lawmakers considered several such bills during the 2014 session, but the only related measure they sent to Gov. Matt Mead (R) was a budget amendment calling for state officials to explore expansion options.
