Albany, N.Y. – A new AARP report “The $31 Million Ratepayer Disadvantage - The Energy Rate Game Needs A Change” highlights one of several major flaws in how New York develops energy rates that has created a great disadvantage to residential ratepayers.
As the year winds down and the season of giving sets in, many people look to support causes they care about—but telling a legitimate charity from a fake one can be tough. While reputable organizations make their year-end push for donations, criminals also take advantage of this opportunity to line their own pockets.
For some family caregivers, the holidays can be a joyful time when spirits are lighter. It feels good to care for loved ones and enjoy being together, celebrating with family traditions.
