The AARP TEK (Technology, Education and Knowledge) workshops help people 50-plus get comfortable with using mobile technology to gather information, take photos and stay connected with family and friends.
To help more Alabamians age 50-plus get comfortable using smartphones and tablets to get information, take photos and stay connected with family and friends, a free AARP TEK event will be offered in Mobile in April.
AARP Nebraska is offering computer classes to help residents get comfortable using a computer or tablet. The classes are designed for people with little, if any, computer experience. Instructors explain how to browse the Internet and send email, and participants have a hands-on opportunity to do these things in class.
