AARP Mississippi and the Mississippi Public Service Commission will host a Broadband Tech Night Workshop at the Collins Civic Center, located on 3220 U.S. 49 in Collins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019. The workshop will feature AARP Mississippi representatives and Sam Britton, Southern District Public Service Commissioner.
AARP Iowa relies on its Grass Roots Election and Advocacy Team (GREAT) volunteers to be the boots on the ground across the state, telling lawmakers about legislation and policy concerns.
In 2018 Fishers became the first Age Friendly Community in Indiana! Part of that work includes getting ideas from residents on how the city can continue to become a great place to live for people of all ages.

Why did you decide to volunteer for the Fraud Watch Network? I feel very strongly about the issue. These types of crimes are relatively easy to commit. It’s not right that people get money for nothing; even worse when they take advantage of honest hard-working folks. I want to help keep people from being victimized. Everybody should have to work for what they earn. How can you take pride in earning if you’re cheating?
