AARP North Carolina Awards Several Charlotte Volunteers for Their Commitment to Serving the 50+ Community in the Queen City
Palo Alto College celebrates its annual Fiesta San Antonio event—PACfest—on Thursday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the college campus. Food, music, games and other entertainment make this AARP-sponsored event a fiesta hit. Admission is free for all attendees.
Our volunteers all bring a unique set of experiences and talents to AARP. Gail Hahn’s knowledge of safety training, and her talent for teaching in a way that is engaging to her class participants, have made her an invaluable part of AARP Alabama’s Driver Safety program.
The leadership for AARP Southwest Waterfront Chapter #4751 has been hard at work designing interesting meeting programs and community service events. Volunteers are the foundation for successful AARP chapters nationwide, especially here in the Washington, DC area.
