AARP Michigan is hosting a forum in East Lansing on Wednesday, Oct. 18, to discuss how communities are addressing residents’ current and future needs.

Most New Orleans residents 45 and older want to live in their own homes as they age, and AARP Louisiana aims to help make that happen.

AARP Connecticut members can save money and support local, nonprofit educational and cultural venues throughout the year, including at The Bushnell theater in Hartford. As part of a special offer, AARP members and their guests can save on select performances of two poplar shows at the theater in October: Les Misérables and School of Rock.

The Peninsula Agency on Aging and AARP Present the 8th Annual Job Fair in Williamsburg. Join us this Thursday, October 5 from 2:00 - 4:30 pm at the Historic Triangle Messmer Community Service Center, 312 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. This event is free and open to the community. Candidates 40 years and older are encouraged to apply, but the focus is on the 50+ population. Companies will be looking to fill full-time and part-time positions. Please come prepared with resumes and dress professionally.

Veterans Day is observed as a federal holiday annually on November 11, and all month-long we honor veterans and former military as part of Veterans Appreciation Month. The city of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs and AARP New Mexico want to get your ideas about what makes a city “Age Friendly” at the Albuquerque Age-Friendly Solutions Forum being held Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The free event is from 8:30 a.m. to 2.15 p.m.

(Ridgeland, MS) - AARP Mississippi is inviting all veterans in the area to attend the AARP Veterans Town Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The free event will be held at the Biloxi Civic Center, 578 Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Veterans may bring one guest. Lunch will be served.
